Emily Turner

Medical Assistant & X-ray Technologist
Emily is a licensed Medical Assistant and Xray technologist born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She was raised in a small town in Oregon and moved to Eugene after high school where she graduated with a medical assistant degree in 2014. Emily has worked in orthopedics with Dr. Murphy since 2016 and has enjoyed working and learning alongside him.

In her free time, Emily owns and operates a homemade dog treat business, Dog Daze PDX She started this adventure in 2022 and has been growing and developing it ever since. Emily spends her weekends at Saturday markets keeping dogs happy and healthy. In addition to operating her own business, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, gardening, baking sourdough, and staying active. 

Kim Newton

Office Manager

Kim was born and raised in Boynton Beach Florida and moved to Portland Oregon in 2009. Her love for the medical field started at a young age when she spent her summers volunteering at a skilled nursing facility with her grandmother who was a CNA.

She has worked side by side as Dr. Kevin Murphy’s Office Manager and Surgery scheduler since her move to the PNW. She is a certified professional coder and certified physician practice manager and has over 27 years of medical administration and management experience working in various specialties.

In her free time she enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her husband, going to the gym, and taking long drives exploring all that Oregon has to offer with her husband and pups in tow.

Grace Williams

Business Manager

Grace is originally from Jackson Hole, Wyoming and moved to Oregon to attend the University of Oregon. After graduating with degrees in Biological Anthropology and Spanish Language and Literature, she moved to the Portland area with her partner and dog. Grace has worked in orthopedics for four years. She enjoys seeing and being a part of a patient’s healing journey.  

In her free time, Grace likes to garden, hike, ski, and spend time with her partner and dog, Buster Brown. She likes to travel to Wyoming at least twice a year to see her family and spend time in the Wyoming mountains.
